Hey there Pretty Lady, tell us a little bit about yourself …

I am a 26 year old Holistic Nutritionist and Naturopath, based in Auckland. I live in Remuera with my best friend Izzy. I am a hermit and would prefer to stay home on the weekends and watch a documentary, opposed to going out and partying. I am an Aquarius and have an obsession with star signs.

I am feeling a tad proud because I have recently …

Signed a book deal with Penguin Random House Publishers! Our book, which is has recipes, beauty recipes and nutrition tips will be out late January 2016. This is a dream come true.

I was held back from achieving my goals when …

I stayed in a toxic relationship for too long. I was miserable but was too comfortable to leave. I have learnt that if a relationship isn’t bringing you happiness and is making you miserable then something has to change, even if that means leaving that relationship. I learnt that staying in bad company can actually be more hurtful and harder to bear than being by yourself and that we need to be happy by ourselves. When you cut unhealthy ties,  you have more room for a meaningful relationship to grow. This also applies to friendships.

Currently Digging for …

Julia and I are working on bringing out our own products which has been a long time coming. So fingers crossed we will have something out early 2016.

You will find me celebrating my achievements by …

Going out for a nice meal and a glass of red with my girl friends.

The most rewarding part of Julia&Libby is …

Getting positive feedback from readers who have had improvements in their health from following our tips. It makes all the hard work so worth while.

I love working alongside my sister because …

We can be so honest with each other, which can have its downfalls too but its been amazing to grow this business with my sister and I feel lucky that we have done this together.

 #WORD …

You are the average of the 5 people you spend most time with, choose wisely.

When self-doubt and CBF creeps in you stalk ….. because …

@MotivateMeNZ – I love Makaias account, she always has inspiring and motivational quotes that help when you are having a flat day.

@HeyOKReal – So many quotes from well known business women that leave you feeling inspired.

When I just need to laugh I …

Message my friend Izzy, she is hilarious and always makes me feel better. I am obsessed with Summer Heights High, that always leaves me in a good mood.

Tune of the week …

Pour it up – Rihanna – This is my tune every day of every week, I will never get sick of it!

Top 3 bucket list goals ticked off:

  1. Completing my Degree of Naturopathy and Nutrition (Graduated in December 2014). I didn’t finish high school so this was a big deal for me!
  2. Travel to Mexico. My favourite country I have been to (so many beautiful beaches and you can have tacos for breakfast, lunch and dinner)
  3. Work for myself

Top 3 bucket list goals to tick off:

  1. Go swimming with sharks
  2. Jump out of a plane
  3. Learn another language which is so cliché but I didn’t learn a language in high school and its something that I regret

While you’re here, lets set some magic and mindful intentions! I will:

Do More Yoga every week to help lower stress levels, improve my sleep and reduce anxiety ☺

See More Of the World

Be More Grateful. I have a great life and I think its easy to fall into the trap of focusing on the negatives. This is definitely something I need to work on, I need to focus on all the positives in my life and be grateful each and everyday!

Your top 3 tips for living a kick-ass fulfilling life?

  • Find a job that you love doing because you will never work a day in your life (cheesy but so true).
  • Surround yourself with positive people that lift you up and bring light to your life. I don’t even know where I would be today if it wasn’t for my amazing and supportive girlfriends.
  • Health is a gift and it is something that we shouldn’t take for granted. Without our health we are not capable of living a full life and contributing constructively to others. We all need to be making an effort to maintain our health because at the end of the day, our quality of life depends on our health.

If you could give 16 year old Libby a piece of advice what would you tell her?

You can’t please everyone, all you can do is be yourself and whoever likes you, likes you and whoever doesn’t, doesn’t. Stay true to who you are and don’t let negative people bring you down.

Tell us about your typical day as one half of the inspirational duo of Julia&Libby….

Ideally I like to workout every morning, obviously there are some days where I would prefer to snooze my alarm and if that’s the case I will exercise in the afternoon. I have to start my morning off with a nutritious breakfast and a herbal tea. Then I usually have meetings to go to, catch up on emails and/or work on something website related which takes up the majority of my day. I always make a list of everything I need to do the following day and I finish my day off with a home cooked meal, a cup of tea and a sweet treat.
