I stayed in a toxic relationship for too long. I was miserable but was too comfortable to leave. I have learnt that if a relationship isn’t bringing you happiness and is making you miserable then something has to change, even if that means leaving that relationship. I learnt that staying in bad company can actually be more hurtful and harder to bear than being by yourself and that we need to be happy by ourselves. When you cut unhealthy ties, you have more room for a meaningful relationship to grow. This also applies to friendships.

Be More Grateful. I have a great life and I think its easy to fall into the trap of focusing on the negatives. This is definitely something I need to work on, I need to focus on all the positives in my life and be grateful each and everyday!
Your top 3 tips for living a kick-ass fulfilling life?
- Find a job that you love doing because you will never work a day in your life (cheesy but so true).
- Surround yourself with positive people that lift you up and bring light to your life. I don’t even know where I would be today if it wasn’t for my amazing and supportive girlfriends.
- Health is a gift and it is something that we shouldn’t take for granted. Without our health we are not capable of living a full life and contributing constructively to others. We all need to be making an effort to maintain our health because at the end of the day, our quality of life depends on our health.
If you could give 16 year old Libby a piece of advice what would you tell her?
You can’t please everyone, all you can do is be yourself and whoever likes you, likes you and whoever doesn’t, doesn’t. Stay true to who you are and don’t let negative people bring you down.
Tell us about your typical day as one half of the inspirational duo of Julia&Libby….
Ideally I like to workout every morning, obviously there are some days where I would prefer to snooze my alarm and if that’s the case I will exercise in the afternoon. I have to start my morning off with a nutritious breakfast and a herbal tea. Then I usually have meetings to go to, catch up on emails and/or work on something website related which takes up the majority of my day. I always make a list of everything I need to do the following day and I finish my day off with a home cooked meal, a cup of tea and a sweet treat.
